This Privacy Policy describes how LightRise ("the App", "We", "Us", or "Our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our mobile application on iOS, Android, and web platforms.

By using LightRise you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you disagree with any part of this policy, please do not use the App.

1 Information We Collect

During onboarding and normal use, you voluntarily provide:

All of the above is stored exclusively on your device using encrypted local storage (AsyncStorage). It is never transmitted to our servers or any third party, except as described in §3 below.

All third-party service providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only for the specific purpose for which it was shared.

You can delete all locally stored profile data at any time via Settings → Reset Profile inside the App.

5 Children's Privacy

LightRise is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us with personal data, please contact us at the address in §9 and we will delete it promptly.

6 Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. All on-device data is stored in encrypted local storage. Communication with our message catalog endpoint uses HTTPS/TLS.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and disclaim liability for unauthorised access beyond our reasonable control.

7 Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

Because the majority of your data is stored locally on your device, you can exercise most rights directly within the App (Settings → Reset Profile). For data held by third-party processors (e.g. RevenueCat), please contact them directly. For any other requests, contact us at the address in §9.

8 Cookies & Tracking

The LightRise mobile app does not use cookies. If you access LightRise via a web browser, standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, page visited) may be collected automatically and retained for up to 24 months.

10 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this document and, where appropriate, notify you via the App. Continued use of LightRise after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
